If you have a story to tell, or are interested in getting your students writing, then this is for you and everyone else with something to write about. Just sign up, then on November 01, start writing.

If you are interested for yourself or your classroom (yes it is for all ages and all occupations) Google: National Novel Writing Month. If you complete a novel in November, the cover art will be done free by graphic artists, and many do get published if that is your desire. No one reads your work except you, the author.
